i'm off to my dear friend sara's for a halloween extravaganza and then over to my sister and brother-in-laws for trick-or-treaters, a movie, and some pumpkin spice ice cream... yum! i hope everyone has a happy {and spooky} halloween!!

october {27}
it all started on a crisp fall day in October... boy had already met, fell in love with, and married girl. on this day the colors of fall were in full splendor. caribbean queen by billy ocean topped the pop charts.
dynasty was the top television show. the terminator had just opened and was dominating the box office. france was performing a nuclear test on muruora island, and washington state's rueben mayes was setting the college football record of 357 yards rushing.
the date was october 27, 1984. the place was san francisco, california. the name was jessica ann. baby makes 3, and boy and girl were now dad and mom forever.
fast forward to the year 2011. someone like you by adele tops the pop charts. this i'm fine with.
"reality" shows are now considered top viewed television for some reason... blah. i will, however, focus on the fact that it's the great pumpkin, charlie brown! airs. (a classic, in my opinion.) dominating the box offices are paranormal activity and footloose. (i am boycotting this one... the original is just fine with me, thank you very much!) i choose to see ides of march. the st. louis cardinals win the world series against the texas rangers. i miss last year when the giants won and we got to parade through the city...
the date is october 27, 2011. my 27th birthday. 27 on the 27th. the place is now los angeles, california. someone told me this is my golden year. one to be documented. well, here goes! are you along for the adventure?
